Funding, Assistance, Expertise.

The CASFFA is a California based nonprofit organization 501c(3) with a mission to cultivate opportunities for small businesses that provide a public health benefit to their communities.

Through public and private partnerships, the CASFFA has supported small businesses through grants, technical assistance, and free expertise for businesses in all stages - from inception to expansion.

funding

California is home to 4.1 million small businesses, representing 99.8 percent of all businesses in the state. Small businesses employ 7.2 million workers in California, or 48.5 percent of the state’s total workforce. Since 2020, the CASFFA has focused on ensuring that entrepreneurs in the health and wellness sector have access to public and private funding to support and expand their small businesses. We continue to collaborate with state and local governments and healthcare providers to create sponsor grants for small businesses statewide.

technical assistance

We help new entrepreneurs achieve their dream of building a successful business for themselves, their family, and their communities. CASFFA provides technical support through group and individual coaching, educational seminars, and uses its network of industry experts to provide immediate, actionable, and valuable support to entrepreneurs. We focus specifically on businesses that provide a public health benefit, have less than $1M in revenue over the last 12 month, and are in the first 5 years of starting their business.

expertise

Entrepreneurship requires resources and support. CASFFA leverages their 20 years of combined experience in business consulting, state and local government, and business ownership to provide entrepreneurs with the resources and support they need to build a thriving and sustainable business. We partner with trusted experts in their field of expertise to offer free educational tools for small business owners in their first 5 years of business. From business strategy, operational systems, to HR, legal, and so much more, we are here to help.
